Flatpack Victorian, 2015, maquette

This Victorian-style house sculpture – glowing from within using solar lights – quite literally highlights some of the impressive, historic architecture found throughout Staten Island’s North Shore. True to its name, the house disassembles down to a 2-inch thick box, no tools required.

Commissioned by Historic Tappen Park for the Illuminate Stapleton Festival; additional funding from the 2015 Lumen Festival at Snug Harbor Cultural Center.
