PHOTOGRAPHY ARCHIVES
I carry a camera with me almost everywhere and find that my photographs feed my paintings, but the reverse is also true. As the ease of digital manipulation has increased, photography is no longer viewed as a type of documentation. So, it would seem appropriate that a painter would be taking photographs – a medium where now everything is intentional even if nothing has been done to the original image.
